Is there a comfortable Max memory size before errors occur ?

Hi, I'm working on my Android version but experiencing issues where my Android viewer just disconnects. It works sometimes, I feel I have a solution but then it disconnects at another stage of the app.
My previous apps work fine.
Could this be a max memory issue ?
My memory Usage stats show 128Meg used, is this too high ?
btw - i'm using a Droid 2.2.2 phone.

My actor images are 866x538 but doubled in size 1732x1076 to support larger Android hardware such as the Kindle Fire HD.
However, if I reduce the image to 866x538 (same as the actor size) the app doesn't quit.
Should I be worried about not having the double sized image for Android's?

When you're in the gamesalad creator, in the bottom right corner there is something called "project size." This let's you know how many MB your game is. If you click on "project size" it will show you the maximum recommended game size.

EDIT: this may be for gamesalad arcade only and not for other platforms (i.e. iOS and Android). But, the larger a file is, especially with large images, the worse performance can be.

I've started another thread now as it's when my RAM max's out not the MB project size. Thanks for you response tho.
