I think it's great, love the style!

I'd make the bulb bigger, much much much bigger, like 3 or 4 times bigger. And the name could come up in size too.

I think elements by themselves are great, but I still think the layout and the way they work together could be improved, I'd try and make the whole layout more compact, so it takes on a general shape - so it fits loosely into a circle or square (etc), you have to imagine this logo will get used at different sizes, when really small in the corner of a webpage or in an app the word 'idea' will almost certainly disappear.

Ok, Well I will this one only use for Splash screens I am already busy with a small different version for bars and icons.

And yes what Socks says is kind of true. However, I'm not sure how you could make the bulb with the word idea bigger while still making it able to fit in a circle or square. I think it would be best to create an alternate logo, like you said. Perhaps just the head of the bear and a bigger bulb? That will surely work.

Logo looks good. You can slight give variations to make it more powerful. In current logo I think bear is doing roar. You can change the eyes and mouth expression as per Genius Bear title. Something like this. Its bear with famous dexter character look
