Button works fine in simulator, not on device

Hello,

I have a simple "press here to continue" button in my game. It works fine on-screen. But when I preview the game on the iPhone, nothing happens when I push the button. Earlier today, it worked on the device. I've tried shutting down my phone and deleting GameSalad's preferences without success. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eli

Another clue: When I press the button on the iPhone, I get the spinning gear. So I guess it's hanging for some reason. Should I reinstall the viewer?

No, the problem is still there, even after reinstalling the viewer.

Does your simple button have a rule like When touch is pressed... change scene?

Or does it have a bunch of rules and that's just one of them?

What happens when you open a new, blank GS project file, copy the initial scene, and add a single actor to the first scene with a single rule (When Touch is Pressed... Change Scene to Next Scene)? Does it still hang on the device?

It's just a simple touch here to continue, nothing else. I figured out that the problem is that I'm telling it to change scene. That's what causes the hang; other behaviors work normally. For now, I've solved the problem by deleting the next scene and doing it over. Thanks for your help!
