I think that it's cheap enough, and what's more important - you can publish with a free version. So I don't agree that there should be any discount.

Agreed - it is cheap enough as is. It used to be $500 mate, the current price is a steal. :)

Only i ask a question. Not debate whether or not expensive.
If you want to invite me because you are rich. Perfect.
    Everyone has their economics situations.

Seems to be a hot topic for you Rubiyooo, it's not the first time you have brought it up.
You don't have to be rich to buy a Pro account. From a SDK license standpoint, it is cheep and nothing is preventing you from publishing with the standard free license. Save up.

Okay, I'll look at it from your standpoint for a second.. It's expensive, you don't want to/don't have the money to spend that much, ect. That's fine. If I were in your shoes and I was dying for Pro but couldn't afford it, I would do a few things. Try and offer my coding skills to help with projects people might have, and get some money from it. Enter a Game Jam that offers a GameSalad Pro license, and try to win it. Firstly though, I would learn GS to the point where I feel confident enough code a big game that could make some good money, ect.

Your acting like the only way your going to get GS Pro is if GameSalad reduces the price. If you really want it so badly, work for it, like everything else in life. Don't expect someone else to do the work for you..

Now this isn't directed towards just you, It's directed towards everyone who is in the same boat as you are.

GS Pro isn't cheap, but it sure isn't expensive, and if your creative and willing to work for it, you'll find a way to get it without a discount.

    Cheers
    Max

Going to go ahead and close this. GameSalad never mentioned any plans for a Holiday discount, and since they won't be back until after the Holidays, I don't see it happening. And It's been discussed in many other threads before.

@Rubiyooo - Nothing personal, this thread will go nowhere, except for an eventual verbal bashing to someone, or from someone. You can hit me up in a PM if you want to discuss it further. I think your question has been answered, and your opinion is documented here, and will be seen. Again, I feel your pain, and nothing personal in me closing this thread.
