Maybe the level (scene ?) you are going to is sending you straight back to where you came from and that scene is then sending you back to this 'level' . . . . and so on . . and you are caught in a loop between the two scenes ?
But that's a guess, if you want more than guesses you are going to have to supply at least some very basic information about your game and how you have it set up.
