Hey guys, thanks for input/advice. My iPad game is resolution independent and finished! I'm wondering how you'd recommend I port to the Kindle Tablet family. I see that the Kindle Fire family is as follows:
- HD is 1920x1200 - (i can submit a distinct build)
- Fire2 is 1280x800 - (i can submit a distinct build)
- Fire1 is 1024x600 - (I can submit a distinct build) - matches existing Kindle Landscape sizing
Specifically, what platform should I use for the HD and Fire2? I want to use my high resolution assets for the HD version but i'm not sure if I can use the iPad Landscape mode to achieve this? Thanks guys, I really appreciate your input

I have been searching the forums for best practices when creating/porting for/to the kindle fire family but i haven't found any relevant answers. The three resolutions @jorkos mentioned are still the most relevant ones (at least here in germany, there seems to be a new 2560 x 1600 model in the US).
My problem is that the Creator still only features the resolution of the original kindle fire (1024x580). Testing a project with this setup on my kindle fire HD (1280x800) results in cropped off width (landscape, the 1280 wdith gets cropped, the 800 height translates perfectly).
Is there a way to create a kindle fire HD project (or any other kindle fire besides the original 1024x580) using its native resolution? Or is there any other way to effectively develop for the other kindle fire resolutions or even develop for all at once?
I wonder why there are no resolution options for these devices. They're part of a big market and there's even a promotion going on now.
