So from my research it seems the problem with text input in creator seems to be an issue related to Apple specifically 10.8 . Apparently if you put a value in the text attribute, like enter, and you're using OS 10.7 it works but not on 10.8. Hope this brings some understanding to this issue. One work around is to use a custom keyboard as show in videos.

    It doesn't work right on Windows Creator either.
