Tutorial calls for img, but GameSalad editor has no img

Alrighty! So the the PDF tutorial (the one by Jack Reed and Anne Austin for GSC version 0.9.92) instructs me to go to the "images tab" in the "Library", then to drag the PNG file titled "Ship" over to the white box that represents the "Player Ship" in the Stage.

Okay, so far, I've managed to follow along mostly up to this point (despite that GSC is now up to version 0.10 and thus some resulting layout/organization differences I'm noting...). But upon following the instructions and even digging through nearly all the folders for the GS program, I find no PNG image file of ANY kind.

Is this due to the version difference (I downloaded GSC long after the most recent update) which excluded the file, or am I missing something else entirely.

Thank you for your help!

I assuming this is just instuctions based on a template that has this image, but if your doing this from scratch then of course there is no image. Just add your own image to the image well and use that.

I suppose so...I don't recall any mention of a template, so I assumed the referenced files were already part of the download. Apparently not, heh. I won't have any trouble, I'm sure, finding a decent alt-image for the tutorial, but given my newbie status with this program, do you suppose it'll affect the tutorial's instructions? Or will it just be a matter of adapting the instructions to the image I select? (I hope that all made sense. lol)

Thank you for your reply, too. :)

It doesn't matter, you can make it a solid color square or a unicorn either way...

LOL Noted. I think I WILL make a space-faring unicorn shooter for this tutorial.

...And in recent news, I got it figured out and have successfully learned how to implement a basic control interface. (I sure sound all technical and knowledgeable, don't I?) Thank you both!
