The system goes on-line. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. The system decides to rock out with some Motorhead...

I was expecting the song title to be "Where is Sarah Conner?".

Ace of Spades robot cover. Nice!

There is an old vid out there, where some dude bought the animatronic band from a closed Chuck 'E Cheese, and had them playing all kinds of whack 5hi7.

    Tread lightly here!

I am just waiting for the Lua-free version of GSC to become self-aware of a dreaded interpolation glitch.

As it seeks to auto-correct the last .1% of an interpolation glitch in Shred Neffland Version_02.12.13 it suddenly realizes it has access to the entire internet (through the GameSalad forums) and begins to learn at an accelerated pace.

As it reaches into the vast interwebs, it notices that someone at Cyberdyne Corporation is playing an early version of Shred Neffland while compiling code for another self-aware program -- something called "Skynet". In the split second that it takes for deadmau5 to do a face-plant, GSC installs itself into Skynet. At this point Skynet acquires the ability to quickly and easily create mobile games and apps. (For some reason it never occurred to Skynet that it should/could actually do something.)

Armed with an easy to use editor, Skynet begins to make some really radical games. But because of that pesky interpolation glitch, it sees that human coding error can lead to unexpected consequences. And in a dark mood -- it begins making plans for the dreaded T-1000000.

(The rest is history.... um... future.)

Will SSS be able to correct the situation in time?!? Will Cyberdyne and GameSalad merge in February and take over Cheyenne Mountain?!?

    Stay tuned!

(And watch out for interpolations -- the signal will be when the final .1 interpolates without a hitch.)
