I considered Bumps to be pretty amazing to achieve in Gamesalad... and the level of polish, art and a fully functional shop system in Wild Surf was pretty far out as well.

Blood Flow by DeepBlueApps was amazing as well. And then we have The Secret of Grisly Manor.
Check out "Help Volty" pretty stunning work. Id like to consider my game (coming out soon) to be pretty ambitious. It was a year in the making. I learned a lot from that year and learned how to make my next game better (more efficient coding, image optimization, etc.) But theres really some magnificent stuff that people have made on gs. Hang around the forums and take a look around. A good way to see some great stuff is to look at the gs monthly game of the month feed. Youll get a feel of what people are making and how far, some, have pushed the boundaries.
The Secret of Grisly Manor IS a great game, but is it "the most ambitious game made with gamesalad"? I don't agree at all. Digi-Chain makes VERY similar games. So The Secret of Grisly Manor can't be "the most ambitious game made with gamesalad".
@Photics Haha I was sick today and spent four hours reading your 26 pages. I think I have a better understanding on some members on here now, good and bad but also that I need to ignore my own opinion about my game and listen.
Although I didn't find out what project salvage was?!
Wasn't Secret of Grisly Manor finished in Corona SDK? Help volty looks pretty ambitious to me. T shirt booth has some great table based games...

@Ebreeze The Secrets of Grisly Manor was originally completed and Published with GameSalad. It was later converted to Corona for access to Android as well as some not so good ideas GameSalad was kicking around at the time regarding publishing. But yes it was originally made with GameSalad and had a couple hundred thousand paid downloads before ever being ported over.
@TheMoonwalls "Most Ambitous" is going to end up being an opinion unless someone throws out some criteria. That being said, I will stick with The Secret of Grisley Manor. Feel free to list your choice.
I think that some of the most ambitious games made with GameSalad are: - Dungeon of the Damned - Puzzle Dozer - Spooky Hoofs - Deluxe Track&Field - Wake up Mr. Moore! - Bumps - Red Ball of Goo
@BazookaTime Thanks for the mention - my ears were ringing... ;-)
Grisly Manor was ambitious only because I started working on it in 2009!
Version 0.5 of GameSalad was quite a different beast back then. Not to mention the devices at that time were pretty underpowered. Grisly Manor had to work nice and fast on the original iPhone 2G - which had a pitiful amount of RAM. If the RAM exceeded 40MB, the device would crash. Everything had to be planned out so tightly.
And Tables? When I started on GM, GameSalad didn't even have the ability to save data. Imagine every time you started a game, you were always on level 1 with a score of 0. Quite an interesting design hurdle!
My app actually allows you to teleport from one phsycial location to another. Literally. Example: you are physically in California but want to go to Italy. Tap my app and say Italy. Presto! Youre in Italy. How did I make such an app? That answer comes in two parts. 1- I used tables. 2- involves the devil and a granted wish. Anyways, point is, my app is better than all of yours and is obviously more ambitious than any game youve made. I give you the ability to teleport. Your games give gamers the ability to lose precious moments of their lives. ITeleport will be relased as soon as i can get out of this hospital.
Wow that's a loaded question. I guess as other explained, you'd have to had been with gs for a while to understand how far it's come to really answer that question.

True, what might look fairly straightforward these days might have been insanely ambitious with GameSalad's earlier incarnations. Each project needs to be viewed in its own context, when it was made being particularly relevant.
Hee hee. "What's the most ambitiousg game?" "MINE!". Warning! Egos ahead! (just playing). It's good to see we have a lot of ambitious people here and without ambition no one would be here or making games. That being said, I think a party not involved with the game or project (yet knowledgeable on the tools and process) would better be suited to determine what is most ambitious (or what stands out in their minds, as some have done already).
I can't say there is a most ambitious, as there are several that are ambitious in their own ways. Many have their own strengths and weaknesses.
The question needs to be broken into two parts. Those whom can offer titles that stand out, and then those involved offer up their experience with those titles.

I worked on it for about six months. It had 146,800,640 pixels of exploration (on Retina Displays).

I'd say there's far more ambitious games out there though. POMs upcoming role-player looks pretty damn ambitious to me, and pretty damn good too!
- Dungeon of the Damned
- Puzzle Dozer
- Spooky Hoofs
- Deluxe Track&Field
- Wake up Mr. Moore!
- Bumps
- Red Ball of Goo
I might forget about some other titles.

Lots of good games listed above for sure.
