Lua-Free Gamesalad anytime soon?

Gamesalad when are you going to release the Lua-Free version, it can't take that long to release the software, a serious company as you are meant to be cannot keep costumers waiting so long, plus with this tardiness you are loosing potential costumers and are making many devs with pro memberships waist a large chunk of their subscription waiting for the update. Can we just have an estimate day at least? hopefully this month with a beta version of the lua-free software, so we can atleast start working with it, then release the final version, lets say in february, when we can have some projects ready to publish. Wouldn't that be a good idea?

We've been over this a bajillion times, mate. To sum it up, would you rather have a piece of software that is junky and buggy, or one that has been tested and tested again to make sure we have a great tool to use? Getting in GameSalads face about it won't make them release this thing any faster. I'll be ready when it's ready. GameSalad is a fantastic tool even without this new engine, it's not like it's a terrible piece of software.

thats the point at least give us a beta version to check out the potential of the future engine, then realease the final version when its ready, the idea is to get a headstart on what can we achieve with the software.

@diegocs i feel your pain. I really really do. Ive been waiting patiently like everyone else. While i wish there were better communication and more realitic estimations with the gs community- what can you do? Im very sure theyre working as fast as they can to get it done. They are a business after all, so wanting to deliver a better product is something im sure they care about. We're all going to just have to sit back and wait patiently. They'll tell us when its ready. Us complaining will probably have little to no affect on their speed of delivery. We dont want a rushed product anyways. In the meantime try to master the current gs. It will only make us stronger coders when the lua free engine appears. Again, i, like everyone else, feel your pain. But we're going to have to sit patiently. The gs staff seem to be phenomenal people. Theyll update us the minute they have some news.

You can see the new engine in action in some of Ice Caps games.

When? When it's ready. I'm closing this, because this question was answered zillion times, and making next threads, and asking the same over, and over, won't make Lua-Free engine ready sooner.
