iPad - Waiting for review to In Review in less than 60 seconds!

Well I have just submitted my first iPad app and fingers crossed it gets through the review process with the non rotating GS splash screen, but what I though was interesting was the fact that my app went from WAITING FOR REVIEW to IN REVIEW within 60 seconds.

Fingers crossed,

This could mean one of two things:

    1. They have a separate iPad App Review team and they don't have nearly as many apps to review, so they were basically waiting for you.

    2. They're doing that simply to acknowledge they've received it, but now it's in an internal queue with other apps waiting to actually be reviewed.

Or iPad apps are taking priority over non-iPad apps. I had an update recently that sat there the entire time of a few days before the iPad launch to a few days after. They had been only taking a day or two. With less iPad apps trickling in but being at a highor priority, they may very well be sitting there waiting for your iPad app and while they sit, they sneek non-iPad apps into their work queue.

    Yes major priority

I have both going irght now and i have had 3 ipOd apps in review for nearly a week
while my ipAd stuff has been through and UPDATED

    The typical process

    1. Waiting to in review - about an hour
    2. In review to rejected for splash rotation - about 4 hours lol

All jokes aside it is pretty quick for Ipad approval
