PLEASE go back to building with XCode 4.4.x

Hi,

This is zupunupi's Dad posting off her computer. I'm doing this because I said I'd get GameSalad Viewer going (again) on her iPod touch (second gen). Now, armv6 support was canned with XCode 4.5 so we're still on 4.4.1. However, we can't link and upload onto her iPod any more because libGameSaladViewer.a is no longer being built with an armv6 slice. I.e. you're building off 4.5 and hence are no longer compiling an armv6 slice.

So, PLEASE can you go back to building an armv6 slice? Do we really have to go out and buy a new iPod touch just because you guys have moved to a very marginally later IDE?

It's the nature of the beast. Legacy products phase out, as does the support for them.
There is probably a better chance to do this if you build a time machine.

You need to write to Apple not Gamesalad. Apple killed old devices with IOS 5. Tech is like fruit, it's only good for a time then you need to buy another orange.
