Yeah, I noticed a lot of members said they watched LOST, and thought that was interesting.

I think things are starting to come together now. I was glad to see Charlie again.

    DESMOND!!!!

    DAN!!!!

    CHARLIE!!!

My god, there'll be an empty hole in this ol' sheep's heart when it's all finally over.

Right next to that empty space shaped like a Battlestar...

I have dvr every episode. I've been a huge lost fan from day one. I've loved this show for six years, but I'm glad it's coming to and end.

Yeah, huge fan sicne the beginning.
I love the fact its getting some so intense

the "what if things were different" point seems like it could have been made in one episode but, it certainly doesn't get boring

last night seemed like 5 minutes (although i dvr it and skip the commercials so its probably more like 15 lol)

I just hope the ending will be good... ill be pissed if it was a dream they shared or something played out like that. Was a good voyager episode though.

Not that i want the same storyline but i would love to be blown away like the time i saw the original matrix in the theatre.

I realize the trilogy as a whole kind of lost the magic but most would have to admit that was crazy the first time you see him wake up in reality. I was like
    What the.... how the.... damn......

Yeah, James, I remember the Matrix in the theater. I had no idea what was coming. I assume now that people familiar with the comic book already knew, but I had that same experience you describe. I hope the LOST ends with a bang.

Isn't a 'bang' the whole reason they're in this mess? ;)

Well.. they rammed the notion of universe course correction down our throats sometime aorund season3.. I assume we are going to see some of that play out for real now.

i.e. Last night alternate timeline Dan was going on about how this shouldn't be their life, and how they did something to get to the alternate timeline....even though the main timeline people are convinced that they did the right thing, maybe in the eyes of the "universe" they didn't.

That being said. Alternate time line Charles and Eloise seem to know too much.. maybe they set up the alternate universe matrix styl-E.

I hope they totally pull the rug from under us though somehow. Not many episodes left to wow us with now.

Alright! Locke throws Desmond down a well and Desmond runs down Locke! Too cool.
  • SparkyidrSparkyidr Member Posts: 2,033
    yeah.. pretty shocking ending :o)
Loving the whole "memories leaking through into the alternate timeline" thingy too.

The fact that so many people in this forum love Lost brings me to the conclusion that I love you guys (not just because of lost haha many other reasons as well!)! Just a thought!

    Opinions?

I wish they would have at least answered what the numbers meant.

Otherwise, I guess it best they didn't try to answer all the questions, that would have taken days, and left nothing for us.

Perhaps they will. 'In another life, brotha!' ;)

I loved that. Even the last 15 minutes of it...

No more 'Previously, on LOST' though :(

I swear there was an inordinate amount of dust in my room while I was watching... eyes kept watering up because of it...

    QS :D

It wouldn't be lost without leaving us with more questions than answers.
I liked the finale maybe a little "too" heavy on the spiritual overtones, but I think it was a fitting end.
There will be people unhappy, cos certain things were not answered...but I think as far as character arcs go, they pretty much summed up everyone.

Be interesting to see a spinoff (movie/comic?) showing Hugo and Ben running the island :)

In the end, it was all about the characters tho.

Jack Finally fixes something (the sink plug of magicness in the fairy cave)
Hugo got a purpose in life (Becomes the leader)
Ben redeems himself AND gets to be in charge (sort of)
Claire gets back to her baby
Kate gets er...back to Claire's baby
Frank flys the guys on a plane (he was meant to fly 815 remember)
    etc etc

And yeah, I think my room was dusty too, or I had heyfever or something. Especially when Claire and Charley had the orange flashback thingy and recognised each other.
    nice
