Well i've officially gone over the 100mb mark in my game. The game is gigantic and has an entire, full album, soundtrack. I was curious who else out ther has games over 100mb. Figure you could join me in the over 100mb club
Thankfully the game is running at a nice and smooth 60fps and seems to run flawlessly on any device above an iphone 3gs.
I feel alone. So please share with me your emotions once you past the 100mb mark. Are you like me and wondering if you have bloated code? Scared that people will run screaming when they see the hefty download size? Do you find yourself trying to make yourself feel better and say, size DOES matter?

I'm also in the 100mb club I've recently crossed it, here is my progress :

Am I afraid because of the size..? I can honestly say it brings a little chill in my back but I've seen bigger games make success before so I don't think this is a success barrier..
Good luck with your project
Roy.
@p-o-m looks like we're in the size matters club! Your game looks incredible! When do you plan on releasing it?
I'm hoping to get mine out early february.
Can't wait to see what ya'll do!
Lump Apps and My Assets
Geshuntite! - 530 MB
Spiderman - 1,510 MB (1.5GB)
GarageBand - 990 MB
. . . etc etc
File size doesn't put people off as far as I know, in fact if you were faced with an option of a Spiderman game at 1.5GB or a Spiderman game at 12 MB I suspect most people would head for the 1.5GB version.

Good move, I went the novelty hat route too, all the serious independent games developers do.
The day I hit 120mb was a happy day in my house, we excitedly waited the knock on the door and the parcel delivery.
@Socks: boy, do you have a weird looking postman...
I won't mention that my interactive multimedia app I've been working on for a long time is above 400mb.... anything above 350, and the prize is a whack on the head...
