Okay - I'm Lost

I downloaded some graphics and got the .gszip file. I opened it and it installed somewhere in GS. How do I get to the graphics so I can use them?

It was a graphics file and not a template file.

OS - Mac
GS - 10

Hi @JN38 Have you tried pressing the Purchased button in the Images Library in GSC?

That takes me to the GS Market Place where I got the file from.

The file downloaded as a .gszip file. When I opened it, it installed into GS (somewhere). Now I can't find where the images are.

When I tried again I got the message "A file named ____ already exists in this game project." But I don't see the images.

Not the Purchase Image button, but the Purchased button (next to the Project button) - still takes you to the Marketplace, or do you see your image then?

    Okay this is messed up.

It's in GS but to get to the images I had to use a big roundabout way to get to them. They are not visible at all within GS and can't be imported into a project because it installed as a support file.

I had to go into the computer files.

    >Computer/user/username/library/application support/game salad/(downloaded file name)/(folder name)/(folder name)/(43 sub-folders with individual images)

That's just not right. Images should be in a folder that can be placed within a project folder on the computer so they can be imported as needed.

If I am missing something let me know.

OK, I'll freely admit that I've never purchased anything from the GS Marketplace but as far as I know, when you purchased something from there and unzipped it, it automatically installs itself in the folder you mentioned. And to access it within GSC, you simply click the Purchased button in the Library... that should work...

    My Bad-

    Now I got it.

    Library
    Images
    Project > Purchased

Okey dokey. Thought something was messed up with the download and install. Need some instructions posted on what to do (or expect) when using the market place and getting a download. I was about to fly off the handle there.

It worked and the files are there.

First time using market place here. I normally just do my own graphics but I didn't want to spend several months tinkering with a small build.

    That's cool; glad it's all worked out, @JN38 :-)
