.M4a music problem.

Hey everyone,

I am trying to play music file on windows version in .m4a format as this is he only format GSC seems to recognize on the 'play music' behaviour. Problem is GSC wont play the .M4a format, its just....silent. Heres what i need.

1) an on off button for the BGM
2) I want music to fade out once a button is pressed.

I have trying doing this with the 'play sound' behavior but it doesnt seem to work. Can anyone help?

Cheers

I can't get GS for windows to recognize my files as Music, only Sounds. I have not tried .M4a. Maybe that will help.

They have to be M4a for music - just worked that out myself. iTunes can easily encode if you drag an MP3 into the library then right click and look for the AAC option (can't recall the exact wording)

Finally a method that worked. As @barleyesq suggested, I opened the mp3 file in iTunes and right clicked it. Clicked Create AAC Version. And boom. an .m4a that actually plays on the Windows version of GameSalad.

If this helped you, let me know with a quick reply.
