Touch area is off

I just got my first APK onto my tablet. My game has several buttons along the bottom of the screen. The buttons on the left work fine, but as you go across the screen to the right all the touch areas are off. If you touch the far right of the screen a button in the middle is pressed.
Any idea on what can cause this?
thank you

I have a piano game with a row of piano keys along the bottom. When you hit a key it will make an actor appear on a musical staff above the keys. Everything works fine in Creator Preview, but not on my tablet or phone.
On my Android devices the key to the far left works properly. But as you progress right across the piano keys they are all off.
I have an idea why this might be happening, but I hope I'm wrong because it may mean I have to start over. I originally used the iPad portrait template and half way through decided to swich to a landscape layout. Somehow Creator keeps referencing the portrait layout even though I changed the game Display Size and Scenes to the new landscape layout. For example if I create a new scene it is made portraite by default.
This cause a bunch of camera problems when my pause screen came up. It was stretching everything in the pause screen to the portrait view even though the level graphics underneath were fine. I fixed this by constraining the camera size.
Anyway... my fear is that the game thinks it is still a portraite layout even though it is not. Even though I have changed the Display Size, Scenes and cameras it thinks the touch areas pertain to the portrait view.
Please tell me I'm wrong because I don't want to start over completely with a horizontal layout.
I’ll enter an official bug report if I can confirm my findings. But, does this make sense to anyone? I really don’t know what I’m doing poking around in all these files and hope I didn’t cause an even worse problem.
