Splash screen- do you make 2 versions for iphone 5 and under?

Hey all!
Real quick question. My game will not support full screen iphone 5 yet.
However, i happen to have an iphone 5. I made a splash screen for non iphone 5 devices and figured it would display it like everything else. When i made an ad hoc it didn't show the splash screen. You can only see the splash screen on non iphone 5 devices.
Do i have to make two versions of my splash screen? Will the device display either version depending on the device?
Or is this just an "either or" situation?

    You have to provide an iPhone 5 sized screenshot for it to work in the splash screen. When you publish with GameSalad, it's the 2 images side by side. One is for iPhone 5 and the other is for Legacy iPhone. You need to have a screenshot in both of those if you want the splash screen to show up on both sized phones.
