    Mac or PC?

    What happens when you try to open it? Is there an error message?

    What version of GameSalad are you using? Also, have you updated GameSalad or the operating system since the last time you opened this porject?

    It may have become corrupted. Hopefully you have an earlier backup that you can restore from. I've been working on an app for two months and am currently on my 200th save [separate files, not pressing "save" 200 times... I've probably done that thousands of times by now]. If something goes wrong, it's majorly frustrating but at least I've only lost an hour or so of work.

    Here is an additional step you could take. I'm not so sure that it will work in your case, but it is worth looking into.

    @tatiang

    Backing up is key, been working on my game and I am now up 1.3.25

    It's great to know I don't have to go back far if anything happens to the current file. And it's funny to go back to the first ones or so and see how far I have come.

    @tiesto

    Hope it all works out for you :)

    I'm a save-nazi too, not quite in your league, but I've a couple of projects I'm working on and they are both around version 130 - and every 10th version or so gets backed up online somewhere (usually Dropbox).

    Agreed, besides never losing anything beyond - at the very worst - a few minor changes, the other advantage to versioning is being able to see how far you've come, this can be quite encouraging at times.

    It's a tough lesson, but computer files do sometimes get corrupted. RP posted a link that may be of use.
