saving custom resolutions

is there any reason why custom resolutions in preview are not persistent? I'm trying to design a single app that auto positions based on resolution, and I have to input custom resolutions for the kindle fire HD and the nook HD and HD+. I have to enter these every single time.

    I have made the same, but on android devices i cant take device display size ...
