New Playhaven Ads (edit: gs dist. network)

I have two games that I released last month, and the only ads are the 'more games' and it only appears when the game is first loaded. Today I made a universal build of one of my games to test it out, and it seems they have replaced the 'more games' with a new type of ad. It shows up after the loading screen, it doesn't go away until you click the 'X' in the corner of it, it delays the scene slightly, and it shows back up every time you reenter the app(slightly delaying the scene again). What's the deal with this? I didn't really care for the 'more games' thing, but it didn't bother me too much since it is pretty unobtrusive. This new style is just terrible though. The universal build didn't really work for the game I tested it on, but I wouldn't update it even if it did if it meant these new ads would take the place of the old one. I'm working on a new game at the moment, and I can't imagine releasing a paid app with ads like this every time you open it.

Ok, I get that, but it still stinks. When did this become the new thing? And why? I must have gotten my apps in just in time to avoid this. I know GS wants us to go Pro, but this ain't the way to do it.

Any advice on the ad popup causing delays in the scene? For example, it throws off my intro music by a half a second or so, kinda screwing up the whole thing.

I guess this is new, so maybe there will be some improvements on it soon, but I really hate it right now. I would honestly be okay with it if it only showed up at the beginning like the 'More Games' ad(it looks nicer), but showing up during the game(repeatedly) just seems very unnecessary.

@dixondonald - this isn't a way to force you to go Pro. This is a way to assure you're able to continue being a free user if you so choose without having to.
Will Windows users receive this treatment with Android publishing as an equivalent?

I understand the reasons of free member, i also have been free for six months, but since I turned in Pro what i did with GS has become a job.
So today I have no regrets and i'm sure to renew my Pro subscription.
