INKSCAPE.. for Mac

I use a PC when Im working with Inkscape. But my wife uses Inkscape on her mac. We are both new to inkscape. But with help from Sprite Attack we have grown to LOVE inkscape. Now my wife is noticing that in the Mac version she is missing extensions like interpolate and other stuff. Its asking her to go to some site and download some lxml wrapper yadda yadda. But when we do so. the file is a .egg file and we are stuck. Is there a more user friendly site that has all these things pre installed or wrapped into a nice .DMG file of inkscape?

    To make interpolate work you'll need download some kind if lib if I remember this correctly.. I'll post a link to it as soon as possible :)
