Wordasm Jr is out today with leaderboard support. Which is cool except for the fact it's already been hacked and cheaters are posting scores in the millions making the whole thing pretty useless.

Do many of you see that?

    Yep, it really sucks. Just a jailbroken device and you're able to cheat.

    Yeah, you should make some kind of rule preventing this.

    Say the maximum score physically possible is 5,000.

    Make a rule that if postscore>5,000 change attribute postscore to 0.


    And maybe even punish the cheaters by permanently making there scores 0! :-?

    Sounds good. But it sounds like separate apps are used to make this happen plus jail broken phones. Not sure rules would stop it from happening.

    Maybe, but the only way the game can post to GameCenter is through the Post behaviour, so if you cap (and punish!) the maximum score, in theory, it should not happen.


    I haven't tested this, but this is just what should technically happen.
