I have a question with the gamecanter post score actor

well in my game you get a score and i want it to post it to gamecenter if the score that you got is higher to the previous one will it replace automatically, its a leaderboard so will it replace and erase the old one? or do i need to put a rule... i dont have a high score system in my game
