Seems they are speeding up some things

My game Iphone game was approved this morning and within about two hours it showed up on the release date page. Yay!!!

No more waiting 2 or 3 days it looks like (all things functioning correctly anyways)

    Does that mean everyone should submit around 11pm so that they get as much exposure for the NEXT day when it's approved?

    If ya get me?

    QS :D

    So what is this iAds exactly, do you pay to preview your app?

    @ideveloperZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZtop

    odd place to ask but you know when you see an add on a free app?

    its that, its just usually done by a company called admob (google)

    but now apple is competing with their own version

    oh yeh, i used admob in Xcode. sounds good. How much do you think it will cost?

    its made by apple, it will be free, you'll get 60% of profit

    The kinda cool thing about iAds is they work like a mini-app. So you click on the small banner (like with AdMob), and it pauses whatever app you're in, and opens the ad content. Since the iAds are tied to the iPhone API, you can do things like include videos, or demo levels.

    If you want to include iAds in your app, you get 60% of the revenue (same as with AdMob, yes?), like chosenone said. I don't think Apple has announced how much they'll cost to run (if you wanted to advertise your games through them, for instance).
