Deleting a recently Released separate iPad and iPhone game and Release a single new Universal Binary

I accidentally posted in the Pro forums and I never get any response there so I'm posting here. Sorry for the duplicate

Is there anything wrong with deleting the 2 iPhone/ipad games in itunes connect and releasing a new single binary version under a slightly different name? It was just released a few weeks ago and its a free game so people wouldn't have to repurchase it.

    I'd pick one of them and just update the binary to the new UB. It's up to you whether you delete the other or not. Being a free app, then you probably should, only to avoid confusion.

    Q. Can we do that? Just update and old iphone only app with a fresh UB build? Or does it need a new provisioning profile?
