GameSalad Viewer Error- Please download latest version

Anyone know the solution to this issue?

I've downloaded the new GameSalad viewer (v. 10.1) but when I try running the app on my phone i get: Please download and install the latest version of GameSalad Viewer, and the GS Viewer screen on my phone says "Connection Lost" with the option to go back to the waiting for gamesalad creator screen. How can I insure the latest version is installed?

Running iOS 6.1 iPhone 5
Newest Xcode released Jan 18th.

Well at least I was able to publish the actual game and forget about the viewer.

just bought a new iPod touch today (since my old one not supported), in order to test ipod/iphone games more easily..
I'm getting this error, though I have clearly download the most recent viewer, like 10 mins ago. Not at all happy if $200 has no result...

Are you using creator 10.2? When you open the viewer file in Xcode before adding your app I'd and such go up to the menus in Xcode can't remember with one as I'm on my iPad but you'll see clean do that and then add your info and try again.

Hey, thanks for your quick response, I really appreciate it. I am using 10.2, though maybe something more fundamental going on; whole iPod crashed 5 mins later and had to be restored to factory (not far back in this case!)
Several times when I opened Xcode, it gave a choice between various simulators and "iOS device" where previously it has always said M's iPad, M's iPod touch etc. - it's now doing this again and I can't get it to find anything more specific. Just now Xcode seems to be downloading a bunch of stuff "iOS 6.1 docset", though Xcode also I only updated a couple of days ago... it seems like it will take an hour, so I'll try again in the morning (uk time here) and report back

No luck so far. I followed these useful instructions:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10087985/xcode-doesnt-see-my-ios-device-but-itunes-does
and xcode found my iPod again for a rebuild, but am back to the original error message:
"download most recent version of Viewer"
    all suggestions welcome.

ok... I submitted a support ticket, and they told me where to check the version number of the Viewer xcode project:
To check Viewer, launch Xcode and open up the "GameSalad Viewer.xcodeproj" file that you used to install Viewer. Click the "info" option and look for "GSVersion"

It turns out I had downloaded iOS viewer 4 times in the last 24 hours, but not managed to get a copy of the latest one. How did this happen?

It happened because (I think) I was searching in the forums for info on how to do things. And the links at the bottom of forum pages (like this one) do not connect to the latest version of the software. So if you click on the link at the bottom of this page called 'Download iOS viewer' you can even see the text 0.10.1 in the weblink. The current version is 0.10.3. So... if you've read this post so far...

Go to the HOME page, the most up-to-date welcome screen you can find, and *download from there*!! (you'll save yourself about 4 hours)

Meanwhile, anyone searching for legacy versions of game salad software, just google the forums until you get a page that's old enough I guess!
