Is it safe to change image in package contents

Since i wanted to reduce size, i decided to go to package contents and redrop all my images and delete the old one. I am wondering if there would be any issues with this like blank actors etc.

    You might have issues as : the size of the actor is bigger than the size of the image and it might stretch, why you take the risk just rebuild it, it shouldn't take long.

    @fsoufi

    It keeps saying login to gamesalad creator to publish even when i have done so correctly. If i go through, (once), it keeps redirecting me to the homepage. Cant access portfolio. This is ridiculous

    I know this sounds obvious, but it's worth underling: When you are doing any kind of folder level editing with the GameSalad project file - don't have that project open in GameSalad - in fact close down GameSalad completely.

    I've left a project open - by accident - while playing around with the contents of the image folder, the end result was a little like the bit in 'the Fly' where Jeff Goldblum gets messed up with fly DNA.

    I often replace images in package contents :) You only need to remember about changing your actor/instance size if necessary.

    I tried it and seemed to work when I click preview but it shows invalid image in the actors menu. Might have to manually drop the image over actors agin.... At least the size reduced by 70%!

    if your file name is not exactly the same it will screw it up.

    I just emailed the support about the publishing issue and was amazed how quickly they got back to me, was expecting it to take a few days at least. Thanks Gamesalad for the quick reply!
