My Game has disappeared from my project folder!?!

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas. Gamesalud crashed whist working on a project and the project file has been removed from its folder. Everything else appears to be there like the images and sounds etc and it's not in my recycle bin and i've scanned my computer for the file but to no avail.
Can anyone help or is there a way to restore the project?

Strange, @aaronforster - what happens when you click the file name in "Open Recent Projects"? Also, do you have an external drive you use?
