iOS & Mac are the only stable platforms, at the moment?

I don't want to invest my time in port's to the platform's that Game Salad doesn't support well.

At the moment I've played only with 3 platforms.

1. iOS (Supported well)
2. Mac (Haven't invest much time in testing, but it looks like my game work's fine)
3. HTML5 (Different bug's in different browsers. No the best performance.)

What about Android & Windows 8? I've head that there is a lot of issues on those platforms, can someone confirm or disprove this?

It's not so much issues with GameSalad and those platforms. It's that those platform devices do not run the same. Therefore it's up to you to do your work testing and adjusting as needed. For example I don't think windows 8 supports multitouch like iPhones and iPads. You'll have to test your game out and see how it works for each and adjust accordingly.

But who ever told you they are not stable in GameSalad could not be more wrong. My best performing sales have been from an android version being sold on the nook App Store.

I was talking more about bugs & performance issues. I don't wan't to buy a Android\Windows 8 device, just to found out that there's a bugs\low fps in my games and I'm basically can't do anything about it.

I have 2 Nexus 7 Tablets. One runs Android 4.1.1 and is very stable. One of the tablets was updated to 4.2.1 and displayed scrambled or no images on actors. It also crashed a lot. I have since updated to Android 4.2.2, but that did not resolve the problem. I have tested many projects on this device and none seem to work including the Official Controller Template.

@particleProject Are you experiencing these issues with the latest version of GameSalads publishing? If so then you need to submit a bug report to GameSalad. This is the first I personally have heard of issues with a newer version of Android.

@imagua Unfortunately until you get those devices and try your projects out on them you will have no way of knowing. Most of my stuff has worked great on the other device platforms. Some peoples have not. @jonmulchay has even had pretty good success just porting old legacy projects to windows. so long story short until you try it you will never know for sure since everyones experiences are different.

Except for my posts (as recent as a week ago) mentioning how terrible GS performance is on a range of Android devices? How about the bugs I constantly run into, submit, and am never contacted about again? Or Windows GS not getting the updates folks are seeing on the OSX side? Or GS Viewer not ever working, on 6 different Android devices, 4 different computers with the Android SDK installed, and 4.2 support being god-awful and not running or displaying images properly?

As for HTML5 support: we don't really have it. It's limited to putting a teeny tiny window for a game on the GS Arcade. 110% false advertising, as true HTML5 would function anywhere, at any size, on any web host.

    Yeah, I agree with @PixelMetal

The GameSalad Viewer for Android is not working on my Kindle Fire HD (I did it by emailing myself the apk)

And I am very disappointed in the lack of proper HTML5 support!! (Please increase the maximum size

The most important Android issue I see is that you can not use the back button in Android. If you hit the back button your entire game quits. To me this is a major issue. I use an Android phone and tablet every day and the back button is a very fundamental part of the Android OS. Also, some people have reported getting app rejections from the Amazon market because of this issue.
