your advice re: when to incorporate good-looking graphics?

I've been working on my first Gamesalad game for awhile now. Right now I only have one level (scene). I wanted to make sure my game concept was fun and that I could get it to do what I wanted it to do before I added much more. The game basically looks terrible right now because I haven't added any art yet.

So here's my question- do you recommend I go ahead and add all of my levels/scenes (probably around 25-30 in all) and then go back and incorporate all my art for the backgrounds, actors, etc.? Or should I put the cool graphics in now, with just one level, before making anymore levels.

Does it matter which I do first?

    Doesnt really matter, its all your personal preference. I tend to create the concepts and then add the graphics in so I can really visualise it

    I make sure all the graphics are in place first, because let's say you have 100 levels, and after you add in the graphics, you have to change an actors position, or something in all o the scenes, it's a nightmare to go through all the scenes. So, I just make sure all the graphics are in place first.
    Anyways, that's what I do.

    so, if you use placeholder actor images what is the best way to 'replace' them with the final images? simply drag and drop on top of the actor?

    @whompy

    I would use your real graphics when making levels.
    They may come out differently than you expect, after you put in the graphics.
