Windows equivalent to command+space in a table?

I'm looking for the Windows equivalent to command+space for putting a space in a text field of a table.
Here is the scenario:
I've got a table with one character of text in each column. I'm copying the character from the column and adding it to a string of characters, building a word. I've got a slight delay and sound effect attached to each copy, so it's simulating a typewriter. It works great, actually The only issue I have are spaces. I can't get it to copy a space on the Windows Creator.
Thanks in advance!

I saw in another thread that people were using \n as an escape code, I can't seem to get any escape codes to work. Does anyone have an example of some code with an escape code that works in the Windows Creator?
Thanks!
Hi @Tobin I don't know the answer to your second question (I've never used a Windows PC) but with reference to your first question:
For putting an extra space in the Expression Editor on a Mac, it's not command+space; it's alt+space. So if you've an alt or option key on your Windows keyboard, my guess is it'll be the same.... give it a go and let me know how you get on! :-)
