Another UB question. iPhone 5 to iPad...

Hey all. I know, I know, UB has been discussed to death. And yes I know there's 50 billion threads on this. I'm going to be selfish today and just ask instead of dig. My case might be a little bit unique.

I've come to the conclusion that there's no easy fix for my game. It's just too big and too diverse from scene to scene. So I've opted to make an iPhone4 version in the game and an iPhone5 version in the game. Basically on startup it will detect which device you have and then take you to the proper version. It's a ton of work- but what can you do?
Anyways, I think I'm good with this, BUT my question is, what's the best way to get it to UB iPad?

-So the project is now iPhone5 landscape.
-Keep in mind that every scene has a duplicate (remember I made an iphone 4 and 5 version within the same game.
-With that all in mind, what's the best way to get this UB to iPad. I imagine there needs to be some kind of code/offset in the iphone4 version of the scenes, right?

Oh and also i'm using crop.

Any thoughts would be sooooo helpful.
THANK YOU! :)

    @anatomyofdreams

My little kid was playing Mr Jabbs (EWOT) today, he loved it (really, not just saying that), he wanted to know why the Warp Fairy was called 'The Warp Fairy' and he wanted to spend all his time releasing clouds of gaseous discharge onto snakes in top hats.

HAHAHA! That really made my day, my friend! Thanks and happy he's getting a kick out of it.
It's weird, today an acquaintance of mine's cousin apparently loved the game so much that he walked up to me and requested that I draw Beldor (Jabbs' sidekick) for him. It's funny how a couple of badly drawn circles can make some kids happy. Makes it all worth it in the end if you ask me :)
He'll be happy to know that I've got loooooots more levels in store. I just need to get some of these problems ironed out first. Thanks again for sharing that with me and LOVE the icon btw. Where have I seen that before ;)

Oh and also The Warp Fairy's name is actually The Warp Fairy. There's going to be a fun little addition in the next few updates that explain many of the characters and their origins. Don't want to spoil the surprise.

The one thing that frustrated him was that Beldor blew off an enormous cloud of death-air™ after he had stroked him a few times, he then continued to stroke him for more pump-action laughs but just couldn't get back that first-hit-high, regardless of how much he stroked Beldor that cat just wouldn't give. We tried leaving the zoomed in Beldor bit, and then going back in, no luck, he was just firing blanks.

I was sat in a café across the table from this 4 year old kid trying to squeeze non-existent gases from a virtual cat, I couldn't help but think my life has reached some kind of destination, as if it was a sign, I shook my head and ignored it and poured myself another litre of wine. (got a picture somewhere, try and dig it out)

That's app rock 'n' roll stardom for you ! Give Will.I.am a call, see where he gets his helicopters gold plated, it best to be prepared.

    What's there already is a mountain for a 4 (nearly 5) year old !!

I'll let him know, I thought it was Wendy Arp Fairy.

Getting back to my question, does anyone have any input on iphone 5 to iPad? I've gotten recommendations to convert it to ipad, but I'm not 100% certain that's best for the project I'm working on. I'm starting to think my game may just be impossible to make into universal, unless it is 100% completely recoded from the ground up.

Is there a way to go iphone 4 and 5 full screen compatible without a universal build? Meaning, is there a way for me to make an app that will work beautifully on 4 and 5, but still require the 2x zoom on an ipad?

@anatomyofdreams I do! Here is what I did and it works great: Set the game size to the 720p HD. You can do this with a resizing program or do it yourself. Then upload it and make a Universal Binary. It won't completely fill the iPad screen but it will fill up the i5 screen. Hope this helps!
