I have a new game button on my main menu that when pressed, determines which table to copy over the "base" table, which then sets the starting income/expenses.

If actor is pressed:
If difficulty is "easy": copy easy table to "base" table

If I disable this group, everything is fine aside from the starting values not varying from the "base" table (required for having multiple difficulty modes). If I keep the rule group, various functions are mysteriously broken even though the desired start amounts are set. The example posted is all that rule group is.

You made a mistake somewhere. Without seeing the actual rules you're using, there's no way to know what's happening. Can you post a few screenshots?

  • Sorry for the delay, but I figured out the issue. The table I was copying from used integers, while the table copied to used "real" values. That was all I changed and it now works beautifully. Now, all I need to do is figure out how to mark this as "answered" :P
