Hi All,

We've updated the editable [Mr Weight Lifter] Template.

It's a bit daft, but my lad enjoyed doing it so much, I gave him a lil' help with some graphics. (I'll do some gardening next weekend!).

    Hey Wayne,

It's going to sound weird, but how old is your son?

    Hey QS,

The one that's into computers, gaming, programming etc is 12 - He's real smart. I'd like him to get into Obj-C and Web Technologies (JavaScript ASP, .NET, PHP etc), but at the moment he finds those languages a bit daunting, thus we looked into GameSalad and Unity3d as stepping stone development apps.

Also I have 2 more kids, my youngest is 8, and eldest is 16 `(they're smart too incase they see this)` - and in October there'll be another lil' one!

Between all the kids, they have different interests, and have daily requests for apps, games, ideas and stuff - it's pretty cool. I have a constant supply of free ideas from a wide range of age groups.

The latest idea (from my youngest) is: He wants a Football Game like FIFA - only the players are catapulted around like Angry Birds, but he wants you to move the players in-time to the music like TapTap Revenge!.... hmmm give me a couple of hours on that one son!

I'm sharing some of his/our projects on here, as the information we have gleaned from other users has been brilliant.

    Well, it's greatly appreciated, sir!

I think it's awesome that parents are getting their kids involved in making games at such early ages! I think Scitunes enlisted the help of his family too. Great stuff!

When I was a lad, my dad and I spent many a rainy afternoon making model airplanes together - and then I got my Spectrum and that was that!

Unfortunately there's still a UN Resolution in place stopping me from reproducing. If they ever lift that (and China, Russia and Turkey are still insistent that it remains in place) I'd like to think I'd get my kids involved too :D

    Cheers for sharing,

    QS :D
