Android app stop working after 10-20 sec

I published couple of android apps for meditation, and after you open the app and if you don't interact with it for 10-15 sec, it automatically lock the phone... However same app for iphone avoid phone to get locked out automatically. It's the same code.. Can anyone help me to find out why is this happening? And how can I fix this?
