My android phone is not being found when I connect it to my computer

When I got the apk android app that was able to connect to my mac to test my apps on my android phone, it did not find the gamesalad creator and then i tried connecting it to the computer by usb. That worked and I was able to view some games. Now when I connect it by usb it only sometimes find my phone and is able to download the game on my phone. does anyone know what the problem is?

    So the problem is your GameSalad viewer is not displaying some games through USB or through WiFi? If not please clarify. :) Or is it that your phone isn't connecting through USB to your Mac at all?
