I am working on a project right now and I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas on making a good game with levels.

You need to make something that you will enjoy playing. People here can give you ideas but then straight away someone else could steal that idea and create something within a few days and say they thought of it.

My advice, play few games, watch few videos on games, get ideas from that. One thing is for sure don't bother making an Angry Bird style game play because there's too much of that around and you will be wasting your time.

Think of something unique, think about the games you like to play, create your own characters, levels, backgrounds, play around with Photoshop, inkscape, gimp, etc... design random stuff and you will have an idea soon enough

I have tons of ideas, many even as working concepts but I never move forward unless I can see how it will all work as a complete game. I generally build the function i want to see work, then throw in some graphics and even sound to get the feel of it. But if I look at it and say 'that's great, now where do I take it?' If I don't have an answer it goes to the back burner pile. I relook at them again and see if I want to pursue it. All part of the process.

    thanks that was all good
but I was definitely not thinking of doing angry bords or something like that because everyone wants to make a game like that and I do not think that angry birds is a fun game at all.

Most people here have great ideas for games but why would the hand out their ideas?? We're here to help you figure out how to make your idea work and come to life not hand over something of our own to you so you can try to make it happen. Not trying to be a prick and all. Just throwing a little reality out there.
