This is a simple program I put together a few months ago. I wanted to share it with the community because it has really helped me out. To use it, type in whatever you want the custom font to say and then select whatever font you want to use. It will output the result as a png on your Desktop. The best part about it is that you can download or make a font and then use it with this program to have it automatically put together what you want. In particular, in works well with this website:

Thanks for this, I can see its use. Do you know what would be great? If it had an option to add a stroke around the font ... that could be very handy!

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do that. I put this program together with Activator and I have very little actual programming knowledge. Maybe someone else would be willing to do it?

@Mr_Rinoy Thanks it worked, its really helpful/awesome, but do you think you could add a custom text colour entry? so we can type in specific colour codes, like: 87BAFF, or 88E990, cos that would make it even better

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that with AppleScript or Automator. Or if it is even possible to do. If you really need a different color though, you can always edit it in Photoshop or with this:
