using ios viewer or Android viewer without paying

Is it possible to test games with either the ios viewer or the android viewer without paying out money? I have been trying but not able to get either of them to work, it seems I have to either pay Apple $100 or get the Pro Gamesalad to use the Android viewer. Please help because is hard to test games without this and I can't afford to pay out money until I have a game to sell.
