"SAVE TABLE" behavior PERMANENT in PC version -- UGH!

Hello All.

I am using the SAVE table behavior and I can not change back to the original table values! I am going into the tables and manually setting the values, and they simply wont change back. WHY?!?! This is a horrible bug - especially when testing in game purchases and IAP's, because I can not reset the values back to zero.

Please tell me there is an easy fix for this - as I have changed multiple values within my tables before realizing this was an issue.

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

Actually, Save Table is supposed to be like that!

Have an empty table and copy that table when you're changing values :)

Ok, but I dont agree that it should be that way. A manual change to a table should have as much power as the 'save table' function. Using the method you described, I would have to make a duplicate of every table, and then hunt for all of the table functions Ive used. If I had known this was an issue, I could have properly planned for it.

For testing purposes - once I have verified that the values are being properly saved to my tables, I should be able to at least manually change them back to the original values. They shouldnt be permanent and unchangeable.

The only workaround I found was to manually change the values, close GS and then re-open.

    This should be fixed.

    Thanks for responding.

Same problem here, its a real pain!

You pick some values for your table, test/play the game with the previewer, and then the values have been 'permanently' changed. So if you go back to editor and then back to the previewer, the table values remain at the new values, not the base values you originally entered into the table manually, and like you say, this is only resolved upon restarting gamesalad.

Still... Could be worse I guess.. ;)
