Touch then talk?

I'm going to be asking tons of questions in the coming weeks, so i wanna make a game where you start and you get a main menu with options so when you click play it goes to game how can i do that?

    I looked at that and was not able to find a good menu tutorial... can someone tell me how to create a simple template.

    Create a scene and call it Menu. You can either have the buttons be separate images, or if your menu is completely drawn with one image, you can use invisible actors. Inside the respective button, add a rule that says if touch is pressed, change scene and go to the scene with actual gameplay. This is an effective method if you don't mind a slight loading time. You can use more complex methods if you want everything in one scene. This is a very basic question, so I'd take some time to go through the cookbook tutorials and play around with the sample project a bit.
