App Rejected

Hello,
My app "Quote Paper" got rejected last week! Here is the reason......
2.12: Apps that are not very useful, are simply web sites bundled as apps, or do not provide any lasting entertainment value may be rejected
"We found that your app only provides a very limited set of features. It only displays images. While we value simplicity, we consider simplicity to be uncomplicated - not limited in features and functionality.
It would be appropriate to implement a saving features instead of requiring the user to take a screenshot. It would also be beneficial to display a UI controls page. Without this the user can be confused on the apps controls.
We understand that there are no hard and fast rules to define useful or entertaining, but Apple and Apple customers expect apps to provide a really great user experience. Apps should provide valuable utility or entertainment, draw people in by offering compelling capabilities or content, or enable people to do something they couldn't do before or in a way they couldn't do it before.
We encourage you to review your app concept and evaluate whether you can incorporate additional content and features to be in compliance with the Guidelines. For information on the basics of creating great apps, watch the video The Ingredients of Great Apps.If you feel we didn't understand the features of your app, or that we missed key functionality, and your app was incorrectly rejected, you may appeal to the App Review Board."

If anyone has any idea of features or things that I should add to it to make it have more to do.
This app is just a simple display of hi-res hand made wallpaper.
Thanks
Conner

It is just that the app took a very long time to make and one main reason is because I made the wallpapers by hand.
Thanks Again
Conner
I imagine if within the app, you had the ability to use iOS conventions like a long-press on the image to open a context menu that allowed the user to save the image instead of requiring a screen shot, they would not take issue.
Apple has been known to require one way of doing certain things.
It sounds like you stumbled on one of those cases.
Maybe you could (a) remove the instructions about taking a screenshot and (b) have a button that allows the user to "save" their favorite image. Then you could have a separate scene with one or more saved images. Sort of a "favorites" page. And if you add music (don't know if you already have music) it might help Apple feel it was more than just a slideshow.

I have learned to make smaller versions of an idea and see if Apple approves them so that I avoid wasting large amounts of time on a risky play. Some genres are more risky than others. Do your research, analyse success and avoid risky concepts.
Build on your experience to make smarter choices about what apps to build and what not to build.
Everyone has different interpretations of what is an acceptable feature set for an app. But there is one interpretation that matters and that is Apple's.
I am just going to ditch this idea and have a website with these wallpapers.
I will keep you updated with this website!
Thanks
Conner
Tell me what you think of it! (:

also don't forget to summit a quote if you know any!

Just a suggestion as far as grammar goes... change this: To this: You might also want to have a field for the quote source in case people know it.
