Saving Memory to the iPhone

I watched a tutorial on Youtube about saving memory to an iPhone, in this case, a High score. Just wanted to make sure that, saving an attribute to a key, and loading it to a key is the answer? When I run the preview option and play the game a couple times, it does seem to work. But when I edit it, everything is wiped. Will using the "load attribute" at the beginning of the game allow me to save the High score?

    Yeah basically, you have an attribute with the result of 122.23 for example. Save attribute to key Highscore. At scenestart use Load attribute key Highscore to the attribute you want to display as highscore. Everytime you hit preview you get a fresh install, therefore you have to use the reload in order to see if the save/load work, or use a device.
