What use is metrix-collector-qa1.gamesalad.com?

in Working with GS (Mac)
Hi guys,
I have a jailbroken iPhone and use a Firewall. I noticed that some GameSalad's games try always to contact metrix-collector-qa1.gamesalad.com or metrix-collector-qa2.gamesalad.com. I'm not sure but I think it is a data collector.
Can someone please (especially a GameSalad Staff's member) explain to me what does this collector really do? And if it is possible to deactivate it?

    They recently admitted to collecting data from GS games with out permission so that's what could be it. They mentioned they were testing some data collection and left some of the code there. They said it was for future decission making.

    Thats what recently been said but it could be something else.

    It worded pretty wrong. Wasn't referring to terms or conditions. I have read them.

    Was meaning that it doesn't ask the user permission. Its an automatic thing that does not have a turn off switch that the user can activate.

    It was no way aimed at GS. Proberbly should be worded it access it with out the permission of the user. Since this was about GS trying to open something I had assumed people would know that I was referring to the code not GS itself.

    But maybe your info will help others who may have issues of this topic.
