Sharing scenes in development partner

I'm developing a game with a partner and on separate computers. We want to merge scenes. I tried to send myself a copy of his .gameproj file, open both instances of the game and drag scenes from one instance to another.

Any advice on working in team would be appreciated.

There is a third party application for doing that:

It's not built into Gamesalad.
