The first game that made me fall in love with video games was "Secret of Mana" for SNES. Sadly thats the best world of mana game, though "Sword of Mana" GBA remake of "final fantasy adventure" (on GB) was actually really good.

Karate Champ and Blades of Steel are two of my all time favorites, as well!
Yar's Revenge (2600) Pitfall (2600) Combat (2600) Haunted House (2600) Indy 500 (2600) Robot Tank (2600) Chopper Command (2600) H.E.R.O (2600) Barnstorming (2600) River Raid (2600) Basketball (2600) Night Driver (2600) Star Ship (2600) Space War (2600) Outlaw (2600) Raider of the Lost Ark (2600) Star Raiders (2600) Superman (2600) Ring King (NES) Double Dragon (NES) Streets of Rage (NES) Rygar (NES) Contra (NES) Track and Field (NES)
I can go on and on...
The game that made me want to be a developer, was when I was 9 years old. And that game was on the Atari 2600. And it was called "Adventure". The first video game RPG, ever.
I'm currently working on a Old School Rampage Game as my fun project. It's a bit tricky learning how to place the building images so they crumble. Not quite sure I have that part conceptualized yet, but fun playing with it.

@lewisone Rampage! A game I loved the look of but never quite got into the gameplay as a kid. Still, a fun trip down memory lane. I hope you figure out how to make it -- and make it even better!
