Wondering who had pre-released IPADS for development?

This quote from a story (not a forum post) on macrumors.com pretty much summed it up for me! lol

".......And somewhat surprisingly given Apple CEO Steve Jobs' position as the largest individual shareholder of ABC parent company Disney, ABC's engineers were not provided with a pre-release iPad for development purposes and had to rely on the simulator included in Apple's development tools for the platform in order to build the application".

    They really do take secrecy seriously. Can you imagine nintendo or sony letting developers release software that had not been tested on a real device.

    It would be nice if they let developers outside of the US order the ipad from the US store.

    Someone accidentally lost and iPhone prototype in China and Apple tormented him to the point of committing suicide. The guy seriously ended his life because of a lost phone.
