Who else on this good forums has Starbucks ™ Coffee while working on their game(s)? I know I do quite often. And if you do, what is your favorite coffee/drink/item? ~O)
YEP! but not starbucks, I reckon starbucks in australia (especially melbourne) is really shite. (lol) I prefer the 7-eleven coffees nowaday, cheap, and really not bad for $1
Around my place (Vincennes, IN) we don't have a Starbucks nearby (the closest is 1 hour away.) so we make due with a place called "Impressed Coffee". The story goes like this: We at one point had a Starbucks in Vincennes but the rent on the building was so high they had to close up shop. Well 3 years passed with no coffee or Starbucks but the people who worked at the former Starbucks joined forces and opened "Impressed Coffee". I have to say they are 2x's better than Starbucks because they custom brew their own imported coffee beans from Africa, and it is AMAZING. So I'm sort of glad the closest Starbucks is 1 hour away.

So what your saying here is that you don't actually have starbucks coffee at your desk like your original post implied?
I personally would not ever pay for coffee like that but thats just me.
@tenrdrmer Yes and no. I do have Starbucks when I can, but if I'm not heading to Evansville (the nearest Starbucks) then I settle for the better option. You would think it would go the other way instead. Also, I love tea too. I can literally drink and entire pitcher of it. (not the best thing to do...) ~O)

Coffee? Yuck! I'm a Dr. Pepper guy. I wonder what would happen if GS made some kind of drink. They'd have a couple thousand people to yes it on, instantly.
We could all work on our projects inside GS, and be drinking "BowlBoy's Baja Blast" at the same time.
@Braydon_SFX Man that would be epic! It also seems that everyone posting here likes a drink that I like! I like coffee, tea and my favorite soda is Dr. Pepper! I'm being serious too! This day just keeps getting better and better! First a new game idea, then coffee, then a forums post, and then awesome people commenting on it!
i wish i could have Starbucks coffee here, but I live in italy and mr. Starbucks said that it's not convenient for him to open coffee shops here... well, after all Italy is the country of real Cappuccino, you can find it everywhere
@SaladStraightShooter Hahaha I wish they were paying me. I would never betray my GameSalad friends! But out of curiosity what is your favorite coffee/beverage/item? (It does't have to be Starbucks)
The Starbucks name has a Trademark not a copyright. You don't copyright names.
Starbucks has mediocre coffee, cheep beans that are mostly over roasted. There is much better coffee out there, even if you brew it yourself. I do however enjoy one of there coffee mochas one in a while and since Starbucks is everywhere, you can find one easily enough. I'd go for a smaller coffee house though, better beans and less foot traffic.
@RP I agree and thats why I say impressed is better. EDIT: Fixed the (c) to ™

@RP Yup it is good! Earlier today I had my favorite drink, the "Iced Peppermint White Mocha", which was recommended to me by none other than the Youtuber, Julian Smith. Side note: I do drink real coffee, like black coffee not just sugar coffee.
I always have a - Decaf, Double, Venti, 5 pump White mocha, 3 pump Peppermint, half soy, half non-fat, no foam, one hundred and eighty, light choclate whip, carmel drizzle inside and out, with cinnnamon and chocolate powder on top, white mocha!

I worked for Starbucks for a few years in 2000, back before it really got its world domination legs underneath it. The crappy beans weren't always the case - they went from full sized, $30,000 real espresso machines to those automated burnt-coffee monstrosities for the sake of speed and "consistency"... except consistency is crappy coffee now.
Back when they made "real" coffee, the beans were very high quality. Before they started buying up their competition and stopped caring.
*rocks on his porch* Oh, the good old days...
Hee hee. Yup, I remember when they did have good coffee. I did some barista work in my day too! (Piacere International and a couple private owned coffee houses). I can smell me a good cup o' coffee at a good distance, but probably not like agent Dale Cooper.
@imGua I understand that. My dad is doing the same thing but he is removing caffeine completely out of his diet. He has done it for about 2 months now.
